about
Arturo Mosquera is an artist born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1982. He lived and worked in Miami, Florida where he died in 2022. Mosquera attended Manchester College, Connecticut where he concentrated in printmaking. The artist became interested in graffiti language in his teen years and his art is conceptually attached to graffiti. Arturo's practice included writing and tagging garments, furniture and accessories. His work transcends dreams, death, love, beauty, friendship, and the imagination.
